The other redditors didn't see it that way and I drifted away, not because I can't take disagreement-I post here after all-but it was a really eye opening look at the mentality of someone like Julian Assange, for example, how easily beliefs in the freedom of the Web can tip into dogmatic fanaticism and be used to justify something like the Yahoo hack.Īnd you all can MARY! away, I was aware of it on an intellectual level but seeing it unfold up close in real time was, let's say, an eye opening experience. I'm a writer so not surprisingly I take an extremely dim view of intellectual property theft.
I did get some flak for failure to express sufficient outrage at Aaron Swartz's treatment by the Feds when I posted that what he did was no better than breaking into someone's house and stealing their tv and in fact it was worse, because it nullified years of work. I never thought of it as over monitored but I guess I wasn't in the right threads for that. To view this media, you’ll need to log in to Twitter.
There are some interesting subreddits but like R26 pointed out the formatting is annoying as fuck. This content might not be appropriate for people under 18 years old. That being said - The best bet is to unsubscribe from most of the default subs and pick ones that are more interesting & then they are less likely to be grating in the way I mentioned above.
The mods of some of the subreddits can be incredibly anal (the worst is men's fashion advice.shocker there) Similar searches gay straight pnp straight pop clouds blowing clouds spun tweaker sex gay pnp straight guys jerking off together str8 pnp pnp straight bi pnp gay pnp homemade gay pnp tweaker gay hidden cam straight straight spun spun gay pnp bareback straight spun high party and play gay pnp. It's often seems like a hipster millennial type of culture. They hate any form of advertising or purchasing behavior. Everyone on reddit has to proclaim how poor they are and how they have $200,000 in student loans and can't get a job other than retail. so you see the same BS over and over again on some topics. There are endless circle-jerks where everyone has to agree with everyone else because they are so concerned about their "karma" points adding up (they don't want to get down-voted for saying something that doesn't go with the hive mind). It all depends on what subreddit you are posting in.
